I spent months and month ripping hundreds and hundreds of CD and it now sit on my PC.
But how do I set it free again?
I bought an Apple Airport Express a couple years ago and as great as it is you have to use iTunes for Windows or Mac although there is a 3rd party tool called Airfoil which was released for Windows as couple months ago. However the main let down was the lack of remote, it was always talk about that a wifi iPod would become the remote....but where is it?
The main players in this market are:
SlimDevices with the Squeezebox
Sonos with the digital music system
Roku with the Soundbridge
Philips with the Streamium
Acoustic Energy with the Wifi Radio
There are other devices on the market however most require a TV to drive them, however why would you want your TV on to listen to music!
